ISP Sales Ethics Assessment

Sales is still fighting a reputation problem. Pushy tactics, misleading claims, pressure to hit numbers at any cost - buyers have seen it all, and trust is hard to earn. The ISP Sales Ethics Assessment is your chance to prove you're different.

In one hour, you'll complete an online exam covering ethical principles, real-world scenarios and the standards that define professional selling. Pass, and you'll commit to the ISP Code of Conduct - a public declaration that you sell with integrity, put customers first and hold yourself to the highest professional standards.

What you get when you pass:

  • A place on the ISP public register of ethical sales professionals
  • Official ISP branding to display on your LinkedIn profile, email signature and anywhere else you want buyers to see it
  • Annual certification that keeps your commitment current and credible

What it covers:

The assessment is grounded in four principles: integrity in all business relationships, selling solutions that genuinely serve the customer, promoting good sales practice, and always acting within the law. Study materials are provided to help you prepare.

Cost: For ISP members only - £25, including all study materials. Certification renews annually.

If you already know you sell the right way, this is how you prove it.

For salespeople

Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned professional, the Sales Ethics Assessment gives you something tangible to show for the standards you already hold yourself to. Accredited by the ISP, the global professional body dedicated to the sales profession, it carries real weight. Buyers notice, hiring managers notice and your name on a public register of ethical sellers says more than a LinkedIn endorsement ever could.

For sales leaders and L&D teams

If you're building a sales culture you're proud of, ethics can't just be a value on a wall. The Sales Ethics Assessment gives your team a shared standard, a public commitment and a credential backed by the ISP, the global authority on professional selling. At £25 per person it's one of the most cost-effective investments you can make in your team's professional standing, and a clear signal to customers and stakeholders that your organisation takes ethical practice seriously.
