Video Summary
The webinar explored how AI can improve sales capability by helping professionals prepare for the conversations that matter most. Host Guy Lloyd introduced Mark Temple of Elmeld AI, who explained AI’s growing role in sales enablement, learning, and behavior change.

Temple outlined the evolution of AI in sales: from content generation and AI assistants to video creation, CRM-integrated copilots, AI coaching, role-play, adaptive learning, agentic systems, and emerging digital twins. He emphasized that the real value of AI is not just productivity, but improving business impact through learning reinforcement, practice, and reflective development.

A major focus was using AI to strengthen key sales conversations: discovery, co-creation, trusted advisory conversations, strategic negotiation, coaching, and transformation leadership. Temple shared examples from work with Cranfield, London Business School, MSCI, and the CLA 100, where AI simulations and feedback helped learners and sales teams shift behaviors quickly and at scale.

He argued that AI is most mature and immediately useful in account planning, CRM workflows, and preparation tasks, while coaching and simulation are emerging as strong next-step uses. However, AI still lacks the critical judgment and context that experienced sales leaders bring. His advice: start small, experiment often, and use AI as a tool to augment—not replace—sales expertise.
